I cut all of my own vinyl from a KNK Zing. {I have provided my SVG file and a PDF file, to download for free, at the bottom of this post.} Here is how to apply sticky vinyl apposed to rub-on vinyl.
Place scotch tape on the top of your transfer tape.
Tape on wall/door. I use a level along the words/image to make sure it is completely level.
Once level flip the vinyl up, being careful not to un-tape from the wall, and remove the paper backing.
Slowly bring down the transfer tape.
Press in the center of the image first. Then slowly side your hand along vinyl to one side and then the other. This will make sure no bubbles or creases get folded into the vinyl. Press firmly along all of the vinyl.
Remove transfer tape by beginning to lift away from vinyl on bottom corner. Slowly move at an angle. Make sure all vinyl is stuck to the wall as you go. Pay extra attention to the dotted i’s or small pieces of vinyl.
Once transfer tape is removed press firmly along all the vinyl making sure that it is stuck well everywhere.

I love this, is there anywhere else to find these files to print out wall words?
i just bought a knk maxx air and am looking for files.
thank you so much
Michelle S.
Michelle, I have updated my post with a free download of the image in an SVG format or a PDF format. (I created this image from scratch so you won’t be able to find it anywhere else online.) Doesn’t a KNK Maxx Air use SVG files? If not, I have also provided a PDF version within the download icon above. The only problem with the PDF version is that it won’t measure as big as I made mine (the measurement is mentioned above by the download icon button). I hope this was helpful! If I wasn’t as helpful as you were hoping please let me know and I will try to help in a different way. Thank you soooo much for stopping by!!!
Hi,
I love th vinyl lettering with the Thomas Edison post about opportunity and hard work. Do you sell just the vinyl lettering? I don’t have a vinyl cutter machine.
Warmly,
Mary
Mary,
I have added a vinyl purchasing option above. Thank you!
