I have to admit that I LOVE chocolate. When it comes to trying to lose a few pounds I can easily cutout fats, candies, snacks, calories, just whatever, but I can not cutout chocolate. When I am running low on energy, at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon, I pop in a mini bite-size chocolate and I am ready to take on the world again – or at least prepare dinner. I don’t always have mini chocolates in my house so when I reach that point and need a chocolate pick-me-up, the boys and I throw together some marshmallow fudge – It only takes 10 minutes. We quite often choose this as our Family Home Evening treat. The boys can help me make it before we begin and it is ready by the time Family Home Evening is over. Perfect.
Marshmallow Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 cup Miniature Marshmallows
Directions
Melt the chocolate chips and condensed milk together in a sauce pan. After melted remove from heat and stir in marshmallows. Press into a 8″ x 8″ pan that has been buttered.
Notes
Melt the chocolate chips (I sometimes use high-quality chocolate chopped up, the kind you use for dipping candies, instead of chocolate chips) and condensed milk together in a sauce pan. After melted remove from heat and stir in marshmallows. Note: Sometimes we replace the mini marshmallows with marshmallow cream to create a swirled look. This is a great idea if you don’t like biting into little pockets of marshmallow, but enjoy the taste and creamy fluff texture marshmallow creates. Press into a 8″ x 8″ pan that has been buttered.
Now place the pan into the fridge or freeze to help the fudge set up quickly and you will be biting into some smooth creamy fudge in less than an hour. Enjoy!
Hi Gennie!! Just stopping by to say hi and that your fudge looks amazing!! Also looked at all of your fun pictures. Had no idea that you had a great dane!! I love big dogs. Lost my Saint Bernard about 4 years ago. So now we have downsized to a Golden Retriever. You have a beautiful family and we appreciate you sharing Kevin with us at work! I had so much fun with you at the conference!!
Thank you Cyd! I also had a wonderful time at the conference and enjoyed visiting with you and Silvia. We love our great dane. I have always wanted a Saint Bernard. Kevin really enjoys working with your family. It has been such a blessing for us!
I wonder if you could freeze some of these? Heaven knows 1 person doesn’t need 16 servings of fudge.
I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. I bet it would be delicious cold/frozen right out of the freezer.
